"STEEL HANDLE 2023" WORKS EXHIBITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL BLACKSMITH OPEN-AIR

The international blacksmith plein air "Steel Hand" is an ongoing project aiming to actualize, protect and nurture the intangible cultural heritage - blacksmith cross-working.
2023. commemorating 770 years since the mention of Dainava's name and declaring this year as the year of Dzūkija (Dainava), special attention is paid to the ethnographic region of Dzūkija (Dainava) and the iron tops of its characteristic memorial monuments, actualizing the blacksmith's crosswork of this region, its characteristic ornamentation and symbolism.

The international open-air blacksmithing event "Steel Hand 2023" will be held on August 4-6.
Closing of the plein air and presentation of the exhibition of created works - August 6. 12:00 p.m.
