Farewell to summer celebration “Summer echoes”

As summer comes to an end, Druskininkai invites you to the traditional farewell to summer celebration “Summer echoes”. The celebration will take part in various city areas with a range of entertainment, events, and activities. This year there will be lots of music playing for children, youth, and lovers of singing poetry. A special show of music and movement will wait on the shore of Druskonis lake.

17 h Commemoration of the 200th birth anniversary of V. Sirokomlė with an actor A. Bialobžeskis and museum worker of V. Sirokomlė museum dr. J. Šostakovski | At the Druskininkai city museum 

19 h Opening of III (XXIII) international vocal competition – festival SONATA OF THE STARS. First tour of the concert (songs from all the world). Evening guests: L’era (Estonia, winner of the 2022 – year GRAND PRIX junior), I. Ašakaitė | At the entertainment square 

AUGUST 25TH | Friday 

17 h Singing poetry festival RADIATING POETRY: literary – musical programme ŽODĖLIAI NUOG KVAJYNĖLIŲ (V. Povilionienė, poet J. Žitkauskas, armonica player M. Kauzonas) | Programme “Duo” by M. Suraučius based on poems by Lithuanian poets | At the K. Dineika health park

18 h Second tour of III (XXIII) international vocal competition – festival SONATA OF THE STARS (world hits). Evening guest K. Zborowsky – Weichman (Poland) | At the entertainment square
