"The 59th Summer of Piano Music" - a piano music festival fostering the tradition of sharing music created by the composer and artist M.K. Čiurlionis himself - invites you to return to the apple orchard again!!

Like every year, from Midsummer to September, on Wednesday and Saturday of every week, the most famous Lithuanian pianists of all generations will invite the audience to the apple orchard of the Čiurlionis House-Museum in Druskininkai and present their latest creative pursuits. One of them is the pianist GABRIELĖ SUTKUTĖ, who has a strong temperament and "excellent precision and musicality", who has performed in such famous halls as Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Steinway Hall UK, Musikhuset Aarhus and the Lithuanian National Philharmonic.

Pianist GABRIELĖ SUTKUTĖ is known as a musician with a strong temperament and "excellent precision and musicality" (Rasa Murauskaitė, "7 days of art"). She actively performs and has appeared in such notable halls as Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Steinway Hall UK, Musikhuset Aarhus and the Lithuanian National Philharmonic. Gabrielė actively performs not only as a soloist, but also with various chamber ensembles and orchestras. She was twice invited to perform with the Kaunas String Quartet, and in 2023. she performed E. Grieg's piano concerto with the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra (conductor - James Blair) and the Bedfordshire Symphony Orchestra (conductor - Michael Rose). Gabriele has won twenty international competitions, in which she was also awarded special prizes. She won the 1st prize at the Chappell Medal Piano Competition 2023 and the 2nd prize and the audience prize at the Birmingham International Piano Competition 2022. at the 8th annual M.K. Čiurlionis pianists and organists competition, the pianist won the 3rd prize, the audience sympathy prize and the "Impetus Musicus" concert prize. For her achievements in international competitions, Gabriele was awarded six times with letters of thanks from the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė and the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitan Nausėda. in courses. in 2016 the pianist graduated from Kaunas Juoz Naujalis Music Gymnasium (teacher Birutė Kumpikienė). 2016 - 2022 Gabriele studied in Professor Christopher Elton's class and completed her undergraduate studies with first class honors and her postgraduate studies with honors at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She was also presented with a DipRAM diploma for her outstanding performance in the graduate graduation recital. in 2023 Gabriele completed her Artist Diploma studies at the Royal College of Music in London (professors Vanessa Latarche and Sofya Gulyak).
