Concert of Bayanist virtuoso Yevgenii Musijets | VIVALDI - „Four Seasons“
On April 12 of this year, at 4 p.m. Yevgenii Musijets, a 5th generation bayan virtuoso from Ukraine, will perform at the Druskininkai craft center "Menų kalvė". In the program of the event, the talented Ukrainian will perform "Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi. The concert in Druskininkai is part of a tour through Lithuania, during which the Italian composer's musical masterpiece will be played in as many as 14 cities and towns of our country.
The performer will perform in Druskininkai for the second time - last November, he held a solo program during which he performed the program "Melodies of Nations", and the audience was impressed by the artist's virtuosity. People often wonder how Vivaldi's "Seasons" can sound with only one instrument, but when they come to the concerts, they are surprised, impressed and extremely happy.
The artist put a lot of work into preparing the technically complex and fast-paced music of the Italian composer. Last year, before debuting with this concert program, the bayan virtuoso used to rehearse from 3 to 7 hours a day, and now, having already learned the entire piece in order to keep in shape, he rehearses from 2 to 5 hours a day. Last year, the fruits of this creative work were appreciated by the audiences of Vilnius, Alytus, Marijampolė, Telšiai, Palanga, Visaginas and Raudondvaris, and now, in the months of February and April, the residents of Anykščiai, Biržai, Trakai, Mažeikiai, Tauragė, Kėdainiai, Jonava, Vilkaviškis, Kaunas, Plungė, Panevėžys, Druskininkai, Ukmergė and Vilkija will be able to enjoy the music of Antonio Vivaldi.
"While playing Vivaldi's "Seasons", I experience with my heart the fullness of God's creation, its beauty in different seasons". In that music, the author reveals so many subtleties of the beauty of nature - in it you can hear birds chirping, a flowing stream, leaves caressed by the wind, raindrops and thunder, snowflakes falling in winter and lightning.
Vivaldi, being a clergyman, saw the beauty of God's creation and painted an incredibly beautiful picture with the sounds of music, in which all creation glorifies its Creator. While performing this concert program, I feel how much love, joy, peace and hope the composer put into his music, and it is precisely these things that are needed by today's people", - the performer from Ukraine shares his experiences of musical inspiration.
Yevgenii Musijets (Євгений Мусієць) is a fifth-generation bayanist. As a 4-year-old boy, he began to learn to play with his grandfather, and at the age of 5 he already appeared on stage. Yevgenijs played his first solo concert at the age of 7. Graduated from Uzhgorod Music College. He received his higher education (bachelor's and master's degrees) at Mukachevo State University. Winner of many national and international competitions and festivals. Recorded the CD "Revelation". Since 2017, he has been playing in the group "YeS Duet", with which he has performed in many European countries and in Israel. Yevgenij is married, he and his wife Alena are raising a daughter. Currently, the performer lives in Vilnius, organizes concerts, participates in festivals and prepares new concert programs.
