The V. K. Jonynas Gallery (9 Turistų St., Druskininkai) will welcome audiences and present the latest creative explorations of Lithuania’s most renowned pianists of all generations. One of them is pianist Yusuke Ishi (JAPAN).

After completing his music studies at Kunitachi College in Japan, Yusuke Ishii enrolled at the Paris National Conservatory, where he studied music theory, composition, and vocal accompaniment.
Among the pianist’s achievements are Second Prize at the 14th Xavier Montsalvatge International Competition in Girona and special prizes at the International Piano Competition in Orléans: the Nadia Boulanger Special Prize and the André Jolivet Special Prize.
Yusuke Ishii has performed in various European countries and participated in contemporary music festivals such as “Musica” in Strasbourg, the Darmstadt Festival, “Printemps des arts” in Monte Carlo, and others. In 2022, he released the album “Works for Piano by Vytautas Bacevičius,” and in 2023, the vinyl record “Vytautas Bacevičius: Selected Piano Works.”
