Džiugas Kunsmanas and the Druskininkai Community Contemporary Circus Perfomance

During the festival “Street Holidays” an exceptional contemporary circus event will be born in Druskininkai – a joint performance by Džiugas Kunsmanas and the Druskininkai community, created in just two days of intensive creative workshops.

This is not a traditional circus, but a living story with movement, imagination and unexpected stage solutions. Here, theater, dance, visuality and the courage to experiment meet, and each participant becomes the most important creator.

We invite you to see how a performance intended for one evening is born from curiosity, play and a common creative process – open to surprise, communion and lively presence together.

He is considered one of the most prominent figures of the younger generation, contributing to the development and education of contemporary circus in Lithuania. He actively combines theater, dance and physical acrobatics in his work and emphasizes that circus is not just entertainment - it is an art of physical thinking and emotional connection, which seeks not to make the audience's day easier, but to make them think. His work is characterized by poetic physical theater, experimentation and exploration of human limits.
