Čiurlionis and Chips No 8: Vaibai Ore

From insider tip to TV and big stages: Hütte proudly presents the band of the year "Vaibai Ore" which combines pop, poetry and special vibes. We are glad that they give a live gig for a after party of the first Žiogeliai marathon. There will also be a photo exhibition by Darius Jurevičius - Zaizras titled “The Belly is Beautiful.”

Vaibai Ore is a musical/poetic/performative project, created and performed in various urban and non-urban spaces. Sounds are taken from the environment, transformed, and returned back to the environment. The hum of engines, barking dogs, gossip, wind, flowing rivers, and the trickling of sand are filled with texts, electronic loops, bubbles, and other intentional or unintentional touches. The entire process is filmed, recorded, and photographed. The best motifs from these improvisations are woven into so-called “poems,” which Vaibai Ore performs at festivals, exhibition openings, and other events.
