On August 15th, during the Žolinė Festival, we will meet under the evening sky at the Švendubrė Community House. Here, an impressive evening impression of lights, sounds and improvisations with the famous jazz percussion master Arkadijus Gotesmanas and the dancers of the “Šeiko” Dance Theater will await you, which has already become a tradition.

At 10:00 PM, a contemporary dance and music improvisation performance “EVENING IMPRESION IN ŠVENDUBRĖ” will take place at the Švendubrė Community House, dedicated to the year of M. K. Čiurlionis.
A live artistic performance created by dancers and one of the most famous Lithuanian percussionists, Arkadijus Gotesmanas, combines dance, movement, nature, music and sound. Here, contemporary choreography meets the inner harmony and flow of nature inspired by Čiurlionis’ aesthetics. It is like Čiurlionis’ living paintings in the forest – a multi-layered work that invites the viewer on a journey that reveals the human connection with nature and art.
Arkadijus Gotesmanas is one of the most prominent Lithuanian jazz and improvisational music percussionists, creating specific, theatrical and often unexpected solo parts characterized by unexpected sound combinations. His music intertwines voices, texts, poetry, African rhythms, shadow aesthetics and unusual sound magic.
