61 Piano Summer | SIMONAS POŠKA
The V. K. Jonynas Gallery (9 Turistų St., Druskininkai) will welcome audiences and present the latest creative explorations of Lithuania’s most renowned pianists of all generations. One of them is pianist Simonas Poška.

In 2023, Simonas Poška was awarded Second Prize and a special prize for the highest-ranking Lithuanian participant at the 9th International M. K. Čiurlionis Piano Competition. In March 2024, the pianist performed in Paris with the Symphony Orchestra of the Republican Guard of France.
Simonas has also performed with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, the Vytautas Magnus University Chamber Orchestra, the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, and the New European Chamber Orchestra.
In 2018, Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė honored Simonas for promoting Lithuania’s name at international competitions. Since 2020, he has been studying at the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media in Prof. Roland Krüger’s piano class.
